Toastmasters
International calls Nido Qubein the “Top
Business and Commerce Speaker,” and the
National Speakers Association inducted him
its Speakers Hall of Fame.
His
leadership in commerce and philanthropy
earned him the Ellis Island Medal of Honor
and induction into Beta Gamma Sigma, the
honor society for business leadership.
Nido
Qubein’s business savvy led him to help
start a bank in 1986 and today he serves on
the board and executive committee of a
Fortune 500 financial corporation with $100
billion in assets and 25,000 employees. He
is also chairman of a national public
relations company, the Great Harvest Bread
Company, and Business Life, Inc.
In addition,
he is president of High Point University, an
accredited undergraduate and graduate
institution with 3,000 students from 50
countries and 36 states, and he is the
author of more than a dozen books, including
How To Be A Great Communicator, Stairway
To Success, and Communicate Like A
Pro.
